My name is Fleming Slone, and I founded Autonomous Agent in 2024. With two decades of experience developing cutting-edge solutions for industry leaders, I've seen firsthand how transformative software can be when implemented thoughtfully and strategically.
My journey in software development began in 2005 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, consistently ranked one of the top five engineering schools in the United States. While earning my Bachelor of Science in Management of Technology on a full academic scholarship, I launched a web hosting company that I ran throughout college. Since then I've had the privilege of working for industry leaders like WebMD, RR Donnelley, and FLIR, while also consulting for companies that include Microsoft, Meta, and Fidelity National Information Services (FIS).
Follow Me On LinkedInWhile working at FLIR, I built user interfaces for the company's AI-powered Brickstream tracking cameras, with the application I architected running on over 100k devices globally. During my time at RR Donnelley I was responsible for the web development division of the Atlanta office, running focus groups and meeting with large corporate clients to assess their business needs and develop custom digital marketing solutions. With WebMD, I worked on the Innovative Revenue Team, designing and writing the code for ad campaigns and marketing tools used internationally by major pharmaceutical brands.
Beyond my professional work, I'm passionate about addressing income inequality in my community of Atlanta, Georgia. I'm a graduate of Hands On Atlanta's Civic Leadership Program, which you can read more about in this interview with me. I've also been honored to receive various awards for my service efforts, including the President's Volunteer Service Award presented by the White House, a Leadership Award from the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the Daily Point of Light Award. I'm also an advocate for science education, and have maintained the website PlantGuideOnline.com since 2011 in order to make USDA plant data more accessible to the public.

When I'm not programming or volunteering, I also enjoy staying active through backpacking and running. I completed a thru-hike of the Georgia Loop in 2025, and run several endurance races with the Atlanta Track Club each year. These adventures keep me grounded and remind me that great achievements - whether in technology or the great outdoors - require dedication, perseverance, and thinking outside the box.
At Autonomous Agent, we apply these same principles in order to bring added value to your business. If you want to learn how to leverage the power of AI at your company, I'd love to discuss how we can help.
